CHRISTMAS: Chief Onoja Tasks Christians On Increased Prayer, Love And Tolerance


Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief (Dr.) Edward Onoja (CIK) felicitates with Christians in the State, country, and world over on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration.

In a message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Promise Emmanuel, he urges Christians to use this special occasion which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ to rededicate themselves to the service of humanity in line with His teachings which emphasizes tolerance, love, patience, kindness, care for the needy, and accommodation to every tribe and faith.

Chief Onoja urges Christians to use Christmas to pray to God to put an end to all the security, economic, and other pockets of challenges affecting the country whilst providing citizens the insights to elect Leaders poised with championing the cause for a Nigeria that truly works.

The Yuletide season presents us another opportunity to love, share and forgive. I urge us to utilize this auspicious period to pray for peace, unity, and prosperity in the nation whilst praying that God further empowers our Governor, His Excellency Yahaya Bello, and his New Direction Team to continually deliver on his campaign promises to the people.
