Senator Aduda Tasks Newly Turbaned Of Jiwa Chiefdom Traditional Title Holders On Service Delivery

Senator Philip Aduda, representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has rejoiced with some newly coronated traditional title holders in Jiwa chiefdom of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), where he urged them to live up to expectations in the discharge of their responsibilities.

Senator Aduda, who was received amidst a mammoth crowd during the turban ceremony of some sons and daughters by the chief of Jiwa chiefdom, His Royal Highness (HRH) Idris Musa, appreciated God almighty for witnessing the event.

Senator Aduda further acknowledged the grace of God almighty that made it possible for every individual out of their commitment and tight schedule to gather in peace, and good health to also be at the turban ceremony.

He commended the paramount traditional ruler of Jiwa chiefdom for the initiative of turban some illustrious sons and daughters in the area, while he charged them to use their new offices to serve the good people of the chiefdom.

He further appreciated the good people of Jiwa chiefdom for their continuous support for him, right from when he was the member house of representatives and as executive chairman.

Senator Aduda, therefore, thanked the monarch for being a father to all, irrespective of tribal, ethnic, and religious affiliations, even as he prayed God 6to grant the newly coronated title holders the wisdom to discharge their responsibilities respectively.

He acknowledged the continuous support of the traditional ruler as well as his encouragement at all times for his genuine role in ensuring peaceful coexistence among his subjects in Jiwa chiefdom.

Speaking earlier the Chief of Jiwa chiefdom, His Royal Highness (HRH) Alhaji Idris Musa, said the palace decided to confer traditional titles on some of the sons and daughters because of their immense contribution towards the peace and development of the chiefdom.

The traditional ruler, however, appreciated Senator Philip Aduda, for his continuous support and giant stride especially in the area of infrastructural development and youth and women empowerment not only in the chiefdom but across the six area councils of the FCT.

Our correspondent report that the event witnessed traditional display by masquerade and local dancers from the chiefdom.
