“Everyone Has Roles To Play At Curbing Incessant Crime, Criminality” – CIPP Coordinator

Parents have been urged to always care and monitor their children to avoid societal vices.
The Coordinator, Community Initiative to Promoting Peace (CIPP) Barrister Emmanuel Ayodeji gave the advice during the body’s meeting in Lokoja.
Barrister Ayodeji said the call became necessary considering the rate at which the youths engages in all forms of social vices inimical to the growth of the society.
The Coordinator noted that for safer and peaceful society, parents, community leaders, security agencies and vigilant groups must work together to curb the incessant crime and criminality.
Barrister Ayodeji urged youths to face their studies and avoid acts capable of thwarting the effort of their parents.
The Community Peace Observer (CPO) in Adankolo, a Community in Lokoja Local Government Area, Hajia Fatima Abubakar, decried the spate of stealing from house to house in the Area, calling on the Community to cooperate with the local vigilant group to curb the menace.
Hajiya Fatima urged the people to be security conscious and also know their neighbors.
The CIPP project is Currently ancord by USAID, Mercy Corps,
IMC, SCDDD, PARE, ARDA with a view to build a Community of people of capacity, peace keeping and sustainers across CIPP Communities.
