Kogi Min. of Culture & Tourism Promises To Collaborate With 2022 Queen Tourism Miss Maritime Int’l Over Her Pet Project
The Kogi State Ministry of Culture and Tourism has promised to render all necessary support to ensure the success of the Pet Project of the 2022 Queen Tourism Miss Maritime International, Miss Grace Eleojo Omede.
Commissioner of the Ministry, Hon. Salifu Isah Idachaba, made the promise when he received the Kogi-born 2022 Queen Tourism Miss Maritime International in his Office in Lokoja.
Hon. Idachaba congratulated Miss Grace Eleojo over her emergence at the keenly contested pageantry, noting that her emergence was a testament of the rich talents inherent in Kogi State indigenes.
He said the Ministry will play her role at ensuring the success of every projects she ventures into, while praising her for raising the name of Kogi high outside the shores of the State.
The Commissioner enjoined her to stay focused and remain committed towards impacting the lives of others positively, stressing that she will be remembered for the impact made during her tenure as the Queen of Tourism Miss Maritime International.

Earlier, the visiting Miss Grace Eleojo Omede who is the Queen Tourism Miss Maritime International, said she was on the courtesy visit to familiarize with the Commissioner and the Ministry, and as well, intimate Hon. Idachaba about her planned pet project.
Miss Grace explained that the pet project is meant to sensitize the girl-child in secondary schools on the opportunities derivable from Maritime.
She said the project will go a long way at helping youths chose wisely, careers that will help them impact the State and the Country at large.
Miss Grace Eleojo Omede appreciated the Commissioner of the Ministry, Hon. Salifu Isah Idachaba, for granting her audience, pointing out that the warm reception granted her by the Ministry made her feel at home.
She however requested the support of the State Government to enable her embark on the project to achieve huge success.
Miss Grace Eleojo Omede, a native if Igalamela-Odolu LGA of Kogi State, emerged “QUEEN TOURISM FACE OF MARITIME INTERNATIONAL” at the 6th Grand finale of the Face of Maritime International held in Lagos in November last year.
Face of Maritime International is a Maritime industry pageantry of International standard which uses role modeling to promote gender advocacy, women empowerment and greater involvement of women in Maritime professions which is hitherto dominated by men.
