Gov. Bello Approves Alhaji Mamman as OHI OF OKENE
Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, has approved the Oyarazi of Ebiraland, Alhaji Mamman Isa Okatahi to serve as the new Ohi of Okene.
A statement by the State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Barrister Salami Momodu Ozigi Deedat, explained that following Governor Bello’s approval for the establishment of the stool of OHI OF OKENE, as separate from the former OHI OF OKENGWE/OKENE, the new stool, the (OHI OF OKENE) is to be occupied by Alhaji Mamman Isa Okatahi.
The stated noted that the former Ohi of Okengwe/Okene is now OHI OF of OKENGWE.
The statement pointed out that
Governor Bello also approved Mallam Umar Momohjimoh Opewu as replacement for the vacant stool of the OHI OF EIKA, which became vacant after the deceased occupant.
Their official installation and presentation of staff of office is to be done alongside with others on Saturday, 5th March, 2022 at the Muhammadu Buhari Square, Lokoja Kogi State.
