HYPADEC Charges Newly Recruited Staff on Focus, Commitment To Duty

Newly recruited staff of the Hydro Electric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (HYPADEC) have been charged to work in line with the goals and objectives of the Commission.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of HYPADEC, Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa, gave the charge at the induction/training of newly recruited staff of the Commission in Lokoja, Kogi State Capital.
The Managing Director who represented by the Director, Finance and Administration, Mallam Jimoh Haruna Gabi, said the goals and objectives of HYPADEC was to improve access to social services, enhance sustainable agricultural productivity, among others.
He charged the new staff to take the training seriously, stressing that commitment and focus was required to enable them attain success.
In a remark, the Kogi State Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Chief Victor Omofaiye, commended the HYPADEC for her efforts at seeing to ecological challenges that has affected Nigerians, promising that the State Government will continue to collaborate with the body at all times.
Earlier, the Kogi State Coordinator of HYPADEC, Lee Ahenjir, says the focal point of operations of the Commission is with States, pointing out that the newly recruited staff were selected based on their areas of specialization.
One of the newly recruited staff at the training, Comfort Oguche, expressed her readiness to put to use the knowledge gained at the end of the training.
