Hon. Eunice Olukomogbon Appreciates Governor Bello Over Her Appointment

The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Kogi State Governor on Voters Education and Registration, Hon. Eunice Olukomogbon, has expressed gratitude to Governor Yahaya Bello for giving her the opportunity to serve the people of the State.
In an interview with a Correspondents of Intelligence News in Lokoja, Hon. Eunice said the appointment came unexpectedly, saying it was a call to service.
While describing Governor Bello as a man who has changed the narratives of women inclusion in the State for good, she appreciated the Governor for believing in the ability of women to deliver.
Hon. Eunice, who is also the Kogi State Women Coordinator of Yahaya Bello Network (YBN), said women have never had it so good in the State in terms of appointment and empowerment until the coming on board of Governor Bello, assuring the Governor of Women support to his administration at all times.
She also thanked everyone that made her dream of working with the Governor a reality.
“I am grateful to His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State for giving me the privilege to serve under his Administration, I count this as a rare privilege
“I honestly lack words to appreciate him and everyone that has contributed towards ensuring that my appointment see the light of the day”
She also appreciate her husband, Mr. Olukomogbon Oloruntobi, for supporting her to participate in politics and also commended her kids for there understand.
Mrs. Olukomogbon explained that Permanent Voters Card was necessary for all eligible voters in Nigeria as it enables them perform their franchise during elections, promising that she will live up to expectations in the discharge of her duties.
The SSA urged those who are yet to get their PVC to approach the Office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and do the needful.
“God helping me, I will reciprocate this confidence reposed in me by His Excellency through effective service delivery as required of my Office
“I will not let our leaders down, I will not let our people down, I will live up to expectations
“I will do my best to ensure our people come out in their numbers and get their Permanent Voters Card because that is the only weapon we have as citizens to choose those to pilot our affairs” she said.
The SSA said she will partner with relevant stakeholders and other bodies at ensuring that the message of PVC is preached and become effective at all nooks and crannies in view of its importance, calling on the people to make out time to get their PVCs.
“I am already receiving tremendous support from the Office of the Secretary to the State Government as well as the Office of the Chief of Staff to effectively carry out my duties
“The Ministry of Information and Communications under the leadership of Hon. Kingsley Fanwo has also been yielding its platforms for massive sensitization too and I am grateful for the massive support
“I also commend the Independent National Electoral Commission in Kogi State for their commitment to the democratic assignment of registering every eligible voters in the State
“For Kogi to remain relevant in national politics, our figures must be intimidating and we are committed to ensuring that” she said.
