40TH DAY SPECIAL PRAYER: Eminent Personalities Showers Encomium on Late Hajia Marietu Omorinola Adeboye
It was showers of encomiums on Late Hajia Marietu Omorinola Adeboye on Saturday at Ife Olukotun as Muslim Scholars, friends and family members came together to offer special prayers for the repose of the soul of the deceased.
In a short admonition, the Chief Imam of Ife Olukotun, Sheikh Zakariyau advised Muslims to always be mindful of death as it will come at an unexpected time.
Sheikh Zakariyau described the late mother of the State Secretary of JNI as one who lived charitable life and called on the people to emulate her.
In a remark, the Kogi State JNI Chairman, Ambassador Usman Bello called for continuous prayers for the deceased as it remain a key in courting Allah’s mercies on her.
He thanked those who stood by his articulate Secretary following the demise of his beloved mother, praying Allah to reward their sacrifice of love.
In a vote thanks, the son of the deceased and Secretary of JNI in Kogi State, Alhaji Isa Adeboye described the massive support from Religious groups, friends, family and other well wishers as overwhelming, praying Allah to replenish them for their labour of love.
The Special prayer session featured goodwill messages from the Olukotun of Ife Olukotun – Alhaji Muhammed Shaibu Ayegbajeje, the Onu Itobe – Alhaji Salihu Adaji Ocholi, Hon. Segun Adeniyi, Hon. Samuel Aro, Hon. Hassan Salawu, Imam Usman Tauheed of JNI Jummuah Mosque Lokoja and Alhaji Muhammed Aliyu Wandana on behalf of Zonal Coordinators of Jama’atu Nasril Islam in Kogi State.
