Kogi State Diagnostic Center to be Handed Over to Specialist Hospital Lokoja

Kogi State Government has approved the handing over of the State Diagnostic Center by State Ministry of Health to the State Specialist Hospital.
Chief Medical Director of the State Specialist Hospital, Professor Isah Adagiri Yahaya made this known during the conferment of Award of Excellence on him by Kogi State Chapter of Nigeria National Volunteer Service/Diaspora Affairs in Lokoja.
Professor Adagiri said the State Government equally approved the total overhaul of all dilapidated structures in the hospital.
According to him, with the approvals, the hospital will be well equipped to meet International standard.

He noted that the hospital has witnessed tremendous transformation since his assumption as CMD and commended Governor Yahaya Bello for finding him worthy of the appointment.
Professor Adagiri, who dedicated the Award to Governor Bello, appreciated the Nigeria National Volunteer Service/Diaspora Affairs for the recognition and promised to justify the confidence reposed in him.
The State Coordinator, Nigeria National Volunteer Service/Diaspora Affairs, Mr. Ibrahim Itodo described the Association as an umbrella of government which oversees the activities of all the NGO’s in Nigeria.
He said Governor Bello has given the Association part of responsibility to oversee all the institutions projects in the State and praised him for giving them the opportunity to operate.
Highlight of the occasion was the presentation of Gold Medal of Excellence Performance to the Chief Medical Director of the State Specialist Hospital, Professor Isah Adagiri Yahaya by the Association.
