2023: Hon. Aibro Answer Calls To Contest, Promises Responsive Representation
A 2023 Nasarawa/Toto Federal Constituency Senate hopeful, Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Aibro, says he is in the race in response to the numerous calls from his people.
Hon. Aibro stated this while speaking as a guest on a political programme (Tunbin Giwa) on 88.5 Campus Radio in Nasarawa State.
Hon. Aibro, who recently returned to the Country after a stint with the United Nations Organisation (UNO), boasts that he has the qualifications, experience and exposure to provide effective and efficient representation for his people.
He expressed optimism that delivering dividends of democracy to people will be his Priority, stressing that he will carry the people along in the scheme of things.
“I’m joining the race for the Nasarawa/Toto federal constituency seat in response to the call from my people
“I am optimistic that my tenure will be people centred, I will provide dividends of democracy and I will live up to expectations” he said.
The House of Representatives aspirant promises to change old narratives, stressing that a new Nasarawa/Toto Federal Constituency will experience a new dawn through effective representation.
Recall that Hon. Aibro contested the Nasarawa/Toto federal constituency ticket against the present lawmaker, Hon. Abdulmumini Ari in 2018.
After losing the ticket under the All Progressives Congress (APC), he joined the Social Democratic Party (SDP) but lost the election to the APC candidate.
Hon. Aibro, who has since returned to the APC said his sojourn in the SDP was out of protest but that after the 2019 general election, he saw reason to return to the APC.
