Dr. Chris Adighije Commissions FUL Printing Press, Ring Road, other Projects
The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the third Governing Council of the Federal University Lokoja, Dr. Chris Adighije, has commissioned FUL Printing Press conceived by the Prof. Olayemi Akinwunmi’s Administration under BOT arrangement with Greyhound Digital Prints Ltd.
The highly equipped Printing Press located at the Adankolo Campus of the Institution is to serve as mass production of printed matters, mainly text in the form of books, clothing materials, pamphlets, among other functions.
Also commissioned was a Van for the Printing Press, Ring road within the Permanent site of the University at Felele, a symbolic tree planting and the unveiling of the Institution’s Sign Post.
Dr. Adighije in an interview, described the projects as laudable, pointing out that they will go a long way at aiding teaching and learning in the Institution.

He noted that Federal University Lokoja is becoming a house hold name following the unprecedented development witnessed in the Institution, emphasizing that the FUL will no doubt, sustain such tempo.
The Pro-Chancellor commended the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olayemi Akinwunmi for his leadership style and foresight at giving FUL a facelift and also appreciated the Management staff for their cooperation.

While sympathizing with Nigerian student and staff on the ongoing ASUU strike, Dr. Adighije is hopeful that the lingering issues between the Federal Government and ASUU will be resolved soon for the free flow of academic activities.
An elated Vice Chancellor of the Federal University Lokoja, Professor Olayemi Akinwunmi, expressed happiness over the commissioned Projects, saying he will continue to accord priority to the growth and progress of the Institution.
Professor Akinwunmi who asserted that the cost of running an educational institution should not be left to the government alone, said the Institution has been doing her best at partnering with individuals to see to the growth of the University.
He appreciated the Pro-Chancellor for his commitment and vital role played at ensuring the growth of the University, praying God to continue to grant him all round success as he marks his 77th Birthday.
In a Vote of thanks, the Registrar of the Institution, Mrs. Rebecca Okojie, appreciated the Pro-Chancellor, VC, Management Staff and others for honoring the invitation, stressing that the projects will no doubt contribute positively to the Institution.
A surprise Birthday bash for the Pro-Chancellor, Dr. Chris Adighije, also commemorated the occasion.
