The Special Adviser On Job Creation And SME’s Development, to the Kogi State Government Hon. Danladi Suleiman Aguye has stressed the economic impacts of the new direction of government under the leadership of His Excellency Gov. Yahaya Bello.
Aguye stated this while attending the Graduation of the 2021 NATIONAL INDUSTRIAL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (NISDP) ON 24TH MARCH, 2022 AT ITF-ISTC, Lokoja, Kogi state.
According to him, The Government of His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello believes in SMEs and had always collaborated with ITF in training and empowering the people government, the creation of over 2million jobs for the youths many of which were felicitated through his office, of the recent approval to train Three Thousand Kogi Indigenes across the state.
While charging the graduates to see this as a rear privilege of adding value to the society and the country at large through the skills learned so far, He further commended the steadfastness of the Institute for the services rendered over the years to the people, youths precisely.
“ And to the graduates, Every end has a new beginning. Today is your last day as a student at this institute, but I believe what you have all learned will start to catapult you to becoming MDs, CEOs of successful companies from today.
When you all left your homes some months back, a lot of you weren’t sure what they will get in return. But today, that little faith you had and the sacrifice you made has yielded to a new reality ”
“ The days of depending on white-collar jobs are over, what matters most today is what you can do, what can you offer? And thank God that when such questions are put before every one of you, you will not only tell them what you can do and offer but also show them the stuff you are made of. You have all learned, explored, and made new friends, nurture this your little and humble beginning for every great thing starts small and little ” He said
The DG ITF-ISTC Sir Joseph N. Ari, applauded the government for her continuous support, calling on the state government for more support as their great visions for the people of Kogi are yet to be actualized for the state.
