“I am Contesting For The Presidential Seat To Restore Hope In Nigeria” – Gov. Bello


…..”Dear friends and patriots, I wish to declare my intention to run for the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the 2023 General Elections

“We are so blessed as a Nation but it does not always seem so, I am running to restore hope by providing guaranteed security, unity and progress to all Nigerians

“Our focus will be proper management of our great diversities so that it can really be an advantage to us

“We will foster more cooperation and integration amongst all citizens and ensure that progress is made steadily across all sectors and indicators

“I am running for President because I see a bright light shinning at the end of the tunnel for our Nation

“This light will illuminate every dark places in our Nationhood and we will fix them for the benefit of every citizen of the Country”

Those were the words of Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello while declaring his intention to contest for the Presidential seat of Nigeria in the next political dispensation in the Country.

While addressing the mammoth crowd at the Eagles Square – Abuja, Governor Bello noted that the Country is blessed with natural resources, saying such will boost the fortunes of the Nation when properly put to good use.

The 2023 Presidential Aspirant explained that his APC led Administration in Kogi State has given 35% affirmation to women in the State, stressing that security, youth and women inclusiveness, empowerment, education reform, among others will receive the needed attention if elected as the Country’s President.

“I am not an unknown entity, I have been the Governor of Kogi State since January 27th 2016 and I therefore invite Nigerians to access my suitability to be the President of Nigeria on the scorecard of my performance which all Nigerians can easily access online and can as well come to the State to see for themselves

“Since we took over Office, we changed a political scene in Nigeria by refusing to have God fathers and refused to cohort with them as well

“I will be running for the Presidential Seat under the auspiccies of our great Party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and I will be running under the raw philosophy of political activism through social action and political reforms

The privilege of being a Nigerian is one I cherish so dearly and I am ready to serve the interest of the citizens of the Country come 2023″ he said.

Governor Bello boasts that he posses the required credentials required of one who will takeover from President Muhammadu Buhari, expressing optimism that Nigeria will experience the dawn of a new era if elected.

The 2023 Presidential Aspirant promised to prioritize the security of Nigerians, explaining that other sectors in the Country will be better for it when the Country is well secured.

“Youthfulness, courage, security consciousness, youth and women inclusiveness, managerial ability, age, among others are the qualities Nigerians should look out for in the next President and by the grace of God, we possess such which we have displayed over and over again in Kogi State

“These are the things we stand for, we have been practicing them and we will simply build on them to enable all citizens benefit from them”

While wishing men and women, youths, Associations, party stakeholders, supporters and other well wishers who trooped out in their thousands to witness the official declaration of his intention to contest for President, Governor Bello enjoined them to remain law abiding in all they do and as well, embrace peace at all times.
