In what seems like the return of late Adoja, the political leader of the State and two-term executive Governor of Kogi State, Prince Abubakar Audu of the blessed memory.
The people of Kogi State precisely those from the eastern flank of the State thinkitive dream of Late Prince Abubakar Audu for Kogi state, would be a reality through his son, Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu who has learned a lot from his late father.
Just like his late father Shuaibu Audu stopover in almost all the villages leading to his country home Ogbanicha to greet the people.
At Ejule, Ofu local government area youths and women in their number carried different placards with the inscription Shuaibu Audu for Governor of Kogi State 2023 defied their commercial activities to give a rousing welcome to their son and political leader.
While at Ogbonicha his ancestral home, Alhaji Shuaibu Audu was received by a mammoth crowd comprising stakeholders, youths, women groups, and as well as community leaders led by the younger brother of late Prince Abubakar Audu and ruler of Ogbonicha, Oregon Attah Igala land, His Royal Highness, Chief Alhaji Tijani Audu.
The young banker with about 20 years of banking experience was ushered into the palace by the traditional ruler of Ogbonicha, HRH. Alhaji Tijani Audu broke down in tears in remembering his late brother and two-term governor of the State, His Excellency, Alhaji Prince Abubakar Audu.
Alhaji Audu also visited his late father’s grave situated inside the residence where special prayers were offered for the peaceful repose of the late political leader.
Recall, Alhaji Shuaibu is in Kogi State for a forty the ays final prayer of late Alhaji Ishaka Alfa, a political ally of his late father.
Shuaibu’s entourage has security details, ward, LG, and State coordinators, also the delegation included representatives of various groups in the State.
