The Chief of staff to the governor, Pharmacist Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku has given a 24hour ultimatum to one Hamza Uba who shared news of his involvement in bribing APC party executives of the Lokoja/Koto federal constituency seeking a senatorial slot to be zoned to their constituency in other to rule out the chances of current Kogi west senator, Smart Adeyemi ambition.
Hamza who is suspected to be working for Senator Smart Adeyemi circulated the news on various social media platforms stating that the move is funded with 2-million naira from the office of Chief of staff, Pharm. Asuku to organize a press conference on Monday, 11/4/2022, in other to prevent someone from Kogi west from contesting.
“ Chief of staff o GYB; mallam JAMIYU ASUKU called some APC members of lokoja/ Koto federal constituency today Sunday that they should call a meeting and address a press conference and demand that the Next senatorial elections 2023 senator should come to their zone!! Asuku provided about two million nairas to facilitate the press conference tomorrow Monday in lokoja the 10/4/2022!! He said he must stop somebody from the west from consolidating his political strength in the state ”
In a swift response, Pharm. Asuku expressed worries over the constant use of his name to play dirty politics, and the chief of staff immediately disassociated himself from the orchestration, calling on the poster to substantiate his claims with proof or leave him with no option that to fetch him.
“ My attention have been called to this white lie u dropped on this platform. I don’t know who u are but i think u will need to come forward to substantiate this white lie. If you fail to do so within 24hrs, u will leave me with no option than to fetch u out. It is high time you guys desist from this dirty jobs. U don’t play such games with my name.
