Palm Sunday 2022: “It Reminds Us that Christ is the King” – Rev. Ndazhaga

Reverend Emmanuel Ndazhaga of the Revival Fire Centre also know as House of Miracle, Anyigba in Kogi State, made the call while speaking on things to know about Palm Sunday.

Reverend Ndazhaga pointed out that the Palm Sunday reminds believers that Jesus Christ remain a sovereign king as the people of old cut branches of Palm, waved them in the air and also spread them on the ground for the King of glory to ride on during his entrance to the city.

“God’s Word tells us the people cut palm branches and waved them in the air, laid them out on the ground before Jesus as He rode into the City

The palm branch represented goodness and victory and was symbolic of the final victory He would soon fulfill over death when said, O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting – 1 Cor. 15:55″

The Clergyman enjoined believers of this days not to relent efforts in serving Jesus Christ, adding that He has rendered the most costly sacrifice on the cross as He surrendered Himself for others.
