The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State on Voters Education and Registration (Kogi West), Hon. Eunice Olukomogbon, has charged Christians to always walk in love as exemplified by Jesus Christ during his earthly mission.

Hon. Olukomogbon gave the charge while celebrating with Christians on the Celebration of Easter which marks the resurrection of Christ from the dead.

She also enjoined them to always seek the good of others irrespective of religion, tribe or other differences, saying that Jesus Christ was given to making the lives of others better at all times.

The SSA explained that the need for today’s Christians to continually exhibit the character of Christ cannot be overemphasized, saying moral decadence was fast becoming the order of the day hence the need for them distinguish themselves.

“Jesus Christ our maker is the reason for the season, there would have been no Easter to celebrate if Our savior never died and resurrected on the third day

“Haven read in many pages of the holy book (Bible) how that Jesus Christ loved and cared for all that came His way during his earthly ministry, we as His followers should continue to do same

“We need to continually seek the good of others, walk in love and become an epistle that others will read

“As believers, we need to strive to live the practical life of the scriptures that men will see and say that this man, that woman, that boy or that girl is a Christian” she said.
