Alhaji Dalhatu Sheriff Saki was born on June 17, 1979, in Bariki Ward of Okene, Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State to the family of Late Alhaji Momoh Saki and Hajia Habibat Saki.
He is from a typical polygamous family. He has many siblings. His mother is the second of his father’s wives.
Alhaji Dalhatu Sheriff Saki started his early education in 1985 at the famous St. John Primary School, Agassa in Okene LGA.
In 1991 he enrolled for his College education at Anyava Community Secondary School, Anyava, Agassa-Okene.
His zeal for qualitative education saw him change school and he later concluded his secondary education at the Okene Secondary School, Okene, where he sat for his SSCE Exams in 1997. He came out with flying colors as one of the outstanding students that year.
He applied the entrepreneurial skills inherited from his enterprising parents, Alhaji Dalhatu Sheriff Saki mastered the art of trading and had a financial breakthrough at a very tender age by going into business immediately after his secondary education. In 1999, after a long sojourn in the business world, with his quest for continuous education, he then proceeded to the University of Abuja to study Political Science, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science to groom himself ahead of making his impact in the world of politics, so that if allowed to serve in any leadership positions, he would be able to bring better and quality service delivery to people.
This spurred him to offer himself in the 2015 General elections to be a real voice in the parliament as a senator but narrowly lost to Distinguished Senator MS Ohiare during the All Progressives Congress’s Primary Elections. He is currently a master’ degree Thesis student at Turkish-Nile University studying International relations and Conflict Resolutions.
His investments portfolio cut across the Real Estate Development, Quarry, Communication, and General Contracting. His business/investment prowess in these sectors has helped facilitated gainful employment opportunities for several unemployed graduates and youths particularly Kogi State indigenes and beyond.
Alhaji Dalhatu Sheriff Saki is a public-spirited individual, a man with a heart of gold, who is properly called ” the giver ” He believes in the investment in humans which has made his part a productive one, He is the founder and currently funds ADS Foundation, care for the poor initiative birthed out of his desires to touch the lives of the needy and the less privileged amongst us and as well his philanthropist gestures to sponsor hundreds of Kogi State undergraduates in various higher institutions both within and outside the country. He is known to be providing multiple forms of support to individuals and families.
His strong drive for community development has inspired him to invest in various community projects over the years, lifting people and encouraging them in their struggles, He loves traveling and meeting people, and watching football as some of his recreational activities.
Amongst his businesses and investments include: Sheriff Combined Business established initially as an enterprise in 1998 and later registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission as a Limited Company in 2007; SIL Estate Nigeria Limited established in 2009; SIL Quarry Nigeria Limited (WA) established also in 2009; Final Touch Paint established in 2010; ADS Communications, established in 2013; and then Clifturn Host & Investment established in 2008.
