EASTER: Pst. Akinola Charges Christians to Take Part in Humanitarian Services

        As Christians all over the World commemorate this year’s Easter Festival, they have been charged to take part in humanitarian services as part of efforts at impacting the lives of others positively.

Pastor Isaac Adesonya Akinola of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Mount Bethel, Ajaokuta in Kogi State, gave the charge in an interview with a correspondent of the Intelligence News in the Area.

 

Pastor Akinola said following several attacks by insurgence and other issues, so many have been taking refuge at the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP’s) Camps, calling on believers to extend their love for Christ to the victims at the various Camps.

He noted that widows, widowers, orphans among others who are in need are also found in Churches, calling on well-to-do Church members to also do the needful to them and change their story for good.

The Clergyman advised politicians to always hear the cry of the people who voted them into power, stressing that the society needs more of government’s presence through provision of social amenities, employment opportunities, empowerment, among others for the betterment of the society.
