
The Ohi of Okene, (HRH) Alhaji Isah Mamman Okatahi, has described Late Engineer Joseph Makoju as a man who accorded attention to the welfare of the people.

In an interview with Newsmen at the burial rites of the late icon in Okene, Alhaji Isah Mamman noted that the deceased has made the Ebiras proud at all quarters within and outside the shores of the Nation, stressing that he has left a vacuum too difficult to fill.
“Engr. Joseph Oyeyani Makoju, we will continue to be proud of him because he has always give priority to the welfare of the people
“He has done a lot to Ebira Nation, Nigeria and the world at large because he was an international figure and we will forever miss him” he said
While praying God to continue to protect his family, the Ohi of Okene enjoined them to sustain the legacies created by Engineer Joseph Makoju.
