Ahead of the general election, The Kogi central senatorial hopeful aspirant, Hon. Sheriff Dalhatu Saki was today at the national Secretariat of the ALL progressive Congress, APC to pick his Expression of interest/ Nomination form to contest the senatorial seat come 2023.
Dalhatu whose political ideas have been adopted by the people thereby making his name a household name in kogi state was cheered by his supporters and well-wishers as they besieged his Abuja residence.
Speaking to his supporters, within and outside the state, he assured them of not taking this show of love for granted, noting that his desire to represent them at the red chamber is born out of his passion for development, and his willingness to define the true meaning of representation to his people, as his core goal and priority.
” What my Constituency (Kogi Central) needs is a rebirth of hope and desire in a time of upheaval, cynicism, disillusionment, and alienation that my esteemed people of Kogi Central are embroiled in through ineffective representation. It is obvious that where there is disappointment with outcomes in the economic sphere, it thus creates a “flattening” of faith in future development, and increased cynicism about values and tradition ”
” I picked my nomination form yesterday, the 27th of April, 2022, and as a sign of great reverence to my leader and Presidential hopeful, Alhaji Yahya Adoza Bello for him to formally present his nomination form to his supporters, I decided to withhold the display of the nomination form and I want to categorically state that the essence of my sheer determination to contest again is borne out of the passionate love and desire to change the narrative of ineffectual leadership through Rebirth of Hope,” he said
While speaking further, He dispels the rumor going on that, he is not in the race, calling on the people that, he is in the race for better representation, and expressing optimism in the coming party primary election ”
” It is crystal clear that I am in the race for Kogi Central Senatorial District Election and thus lay to rest the thoughts of some folks who usually express pessimism that until an aspirant picks a nomination form, they won’t be convinced of his or her readiness in vying for any elected position(s).
I cannot do it alone as we are better together in this redemptive journey to the hallowed chamber ” he said
