The Kogi central senatorial hopeful, Alhaji. Dalhatu Sheriff was today at the Abuja residence of his Excellency Alhaji. Yahaya Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi state presented his APC nomination/Expression of interest form to him.
Dalhatu who was in the company of his aides met with the governor and his chief of staff, Pharm. Muhammed Jamiu Asuku, to show and formally declared his intention to run for the senatorial seat come 2023.
While presenting, Dalhatu appreciate the Governor for his fatherly role and his show of love and support for the party and the state, also the accommodating receptions of all aspirants under the fold of All Progressive Congress, APC, saying that, In Kogi state under the leadership of The governor has witnessed oneness and unity under which can be referred to as unprecedented.
” Your Excellency, I am here to present my purchase nomination form, and expression of interest for the 2023 Kogi central senatorial seat, and formally declare the intention, firstly, as a father, you have set a space for us to follow, and you are doing so with humility, for over the years your mentorship and demonstration of love for all have been so awesome, and with you, we have remained united and hopeful for a greater Nigeria in few months, No doubts,” he said
The governor in his response thanked Alhaji. Dalhatu for the support and all, ensuring that all aspirants would be given a level free to prove their worth and capacity which will be justified by the party delegates during the Primary Elections.
