A 2023 frontline House of Representatives Aspirant for Idah, Ofu, Igalamela-Odolu and Ibaji Federal Constituency on the platform of the rulling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Mubarak Musa Saliu has charged Muslims to remain dedicated to praying for Allah’s peace, unity, prosperity and rapid development of the society.
In a felicitation message, Dr. Mubarak, who is the Chief Executive Officer, Emperor City Integrated Service, explained that Eid-El Fitri, which marks the end of the Ramadan fast, was not just for merry making, calling on them to also reflect on the significance of Ramadan.
“Ramadan is a period of prayer, thanksgiving, forgiveness, spiritual training and self-examination, which if imbibed would solve many of the Country’s problem
“My brothers and sisters in Islam, please don’t be carried away by only the pageantry of the Sallah but soberly reflect on the significance
“Use the occasion of the 2022 Eid-el-Fitri celebration to offer prayers for peace, unity, prosperity and rapid development at all levels of governance, let’s continue to pray for leaders in authority” he said.
While urging leaders to use power fairly and justly, Dr. Mubarak stressed the need for politicians to be accessible to the people instead of living in fortresses of power that detaches them from the reality of the people.
The Founder of Dan Arewa Foundation felicitated with Muslims in Idah Federal Constituency on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitri, calling on them to remain dedicated to the service of Allah.
He appreciated the people of the Constituency for their show of love and relentless support so far to his aspirantion, adding that he will not betray their trust if given the opportunity to represent them.
