The Secretary to Kogi State Government, Dr. Folashade Arike Ayoade, has promised to impact knowledge on the young ones as she embarks on Part Time Lecturing offer at the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara.
Dr. Folashade made the promise while at the University to perform the Documentation of her engagement as a Part Time Lecturer at the Department of Biochemistry of the Institution.
She said serving as a model and motivation to the young ones has been her passion, stressing that the opportunity to work as a Lecturer will enable her impact the lives of the young leaders positively.
Dr. Folashade Arike Ayoade (PhD), promised to contribute her quota to the development of the Institution, describing CUSTECH as a unique University that has come meet the scientific needs of the present and future generations.
“It has been my personal ambition to impact Knowledge into the younger ones, so when the University was created I told the Executive Governor of our dear State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and Members of the Management that I would love to Lecture in the Biochemistry Department so I applied as a Part Time Lecturer and to the glory of God, I was offered
“The difference I intend to bring on board by the time I start Lecturing is to impact knowledge into the lives of the student and to serve as an inspiration to motivate them to attain any level they are aiming at especially the female student
“I am also going to be a model; letting them know that as student, they can attain any level God wants them to attain to His glory
“I will not just teach them Biochemistry but also impact their lives by motivating them to be the best they really want to be” she said.
The Secretary to the State Government commended Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for birthing the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH) Osara and prayed God to grant the Governor his heart desires in the days ahead.
Dr. Folashade enjoined the student of CUSTECH to take their Studies serious; stressing that the Governor Yahaya Bello led administration in the State was committed to seeing to the growth of Education at all quarters.
“I want to congratulate the student and staff of the Confluence University of Science and Technology Osara that they are lucky to have His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello at the helm of affairs at this time in which Federal owned Universities are on strike but our State owned Universities are enjoying uninterrupted academic activities
“I advise the students to seize the opportunity to face their studies squarely, do away with cultism and any form of evil activities that will not allow them attain the height God has prepared for them
“I commend the staff for the good work they are doing as pioneer staff of the Institution
“I want to specially commend the Vice Chancellor, Professor Sadiku for the good works he has been doing and for all the intervention the University has been receiving from TETFund
“I also seize this opportunity to appreciate his Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello for the vision and efforts of bringing this science-based University to limelight, God will continue to be with you and uplift you to higher height in Jesus Name (Amen)”
