The people of Ankpa I State Constituency have been assured of quality representative in the Kogi State House of Assembly ahead of 2023.
Aduku Emmanuel, a 2023 aspirant, Representing Ankpa I Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, made the promise at the All Progressives Congress (APC) State Secretariat Lokoja.
Emmanuel who was at the Secretariat for the Screening of Assembly Aspirants ahead of the election noted that he made the move following his conviction that he can provide the people of the Area with the required development.
The Aspirant noted that his physical disability cannot be a barrier, saying he is mentally stable and ready to bring development to his Constituency.
He commended the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for his inclusive leadership in the State, describing him as a man of impeccable character who has taken the security of the people serious.
Emmanuel appreciated Governor Bello for giving attention to the welfare of Persons Living with Disabilities in the State, assuring them that he will also represent them well if given the opportunity.
“As a physically challenged Aspirant, if elected by God’s grace I will live up to expectations and ensure I provide quality Representation to the people of Ankpa I Constituency
“There is ability in disability and I am blessed of God with the mentality and skills to bring about the needed development to my people
“Position comes from God and with the support of the people, we will chat a way forward for a new Ankpa I Constituency that will be an envy of other Constituencies”
He appreciated the people of the Constituency for their support so far, stressing that be will serve as their voice and enjoined them to sustain their support to his aspirantion.
Aduku Emmanuel also called on delegates of the Party to consider him to fly the Party’s Ticket, adding that he will go all out to represent the interest of the people of Ankpa I Constituency.
