The Special Adviser to Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello on Culture and Tourism, Hon. Femi Bolaji, has congratulated Kogi West Senatorial District All Progressives Congress flag bearer, Hon. Sunday Steve Karimi on his Primary Election victory.
In a congratulatory message, Hon. Bolaji described the emergence of Hon. Karimi as the peoples choice, saying the APC Senate Candidate has been a grassroot Politician with the interest of the people at heart.
The SA explained that the victory of Hon. Karimi at the 2023 General Elections will serve as the beginning of a new dawn for the people of Kogi West, stressing that he has always been doing his best at putting smiles on the faces of the people.
Hon. Femi Bolaji expressed optimism that APC will retain the Senate seat in the coming elections, calling on the people to be prepared to cast their votes for Hon. Karimi who has represented them well in the past.
Hon. Sunday Steve Karimi, a Former Member representing Yagba Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, picked the ticket of the All Progressives Congress for Kogi West Senatorial District, after polling 288 votes to defeat incumbent Senator, Smart Adeyemi who had 43 votes.
Doctor Muyiwa Aina came second after pulling 73 votes while Isah Abdulkarim got 9 votes with the only female contestant got 1 vote.
