Dear constituents,

Firstly, I would like to thank Almighty Allah for making all of us witness this day, Alhamdulillah.

My profound appreciation goes to all APC delegates and party supporters across the two Local Government Areas. Your support and encouragement no doubt contributed to our success in the primary election as we anticipate into our victory in 2023. May the Almighty God reward you abundantly.

It is imperative to thank the leader of our great party in Kogi State who equally is my mentor, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello, for his admirable leadership style and his commitment to the security of lives, and for making the entire process a fair, credible and democratic governance.

You are a mentor like no other. We will continue to drink from your fountain of knowledge and wisdom.

For long, we have waited for this moment and by the special grace of God, we are all witnessing to this it already. This is a victory for us all. This is the beginning of the journey of consolidation and new beginnings for our dear Okene/Ogori Magongo Federal Constituency.

Together, we shall build on the wonderful legacies of our dear leader, the essential Governor Yahaya Bello and Nigeria’s President hopeful. Together, we shall tackle our challenges and forge unity among our people.

The Primary Election is a showpiece of superb organisation, display of decency, patience and high moral discipline by the delegates and by extension, our party faithfuls. We have shown that we believe in democracy and we are ready to follow the rules of law and due process. Democracy is about participation. Once people are allowed to express their free will, the process and outcome is a beauty to behold.

I therefore thank my co-contestants, Dr. Abdullahi Sanni Ozomata, Hon Leonard Peter Omeiza and Hon. Nasiru Usman Bello for their belief in the democratic processes. We shall reach out to these great men and extend our hands of partnership with them and together, we shall take Okene/Ogori Magongo Federal Constituency to higher heights.

To our very dear constituents, this is one opportunity we will not take for granted and be rest assured of my commitment to work diligently everyday and night to make it a success.

We are poised to take Okene/Ogori Magongo to greater heights. We shall not fail our people. God bless us, most sincerely, as we match into our great victory come 2023, Insha Allah.
