Delegates to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Special Convention in Abuja have been told to take development, youthfulness and gender friendliness into consideration while discharging their duties.
Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Information and Communication, Dr. Gabriel Ottah, gave the advice while lending his voice on Governor Bello’s worthiness to clinch the Party’s 2023 Presidential Ticket.
Dr. Ottah said the Kogi State Governor and leading Presidential Aspirant of the APC has been paying his dues in terms of securing the lives and property of the People of the State, ensuring rapid development and engaging youths, women and People Living with Disabilities in governance.
The Educationist cum Politician pointed out that Nigeria needs a young and innovative fellow who will be able to follow the current trend to solve the Country’s numerous challenges, expressing optimism that Governor Bello stands a better chance of bringing the needed results to the giant of Africa.
Dr. Gabriel Ottah explained that the Executive Governor of Kogi State has verifiable records of great achievements in the Confluence State, calling on the Delegates to cast their lots in favour of the youngest 2023 Presidential Aspirant to enable APC retain power.
“I want to lend my voice on the need for His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello to emerge as the 2023 Presidential flag bearer of our great Party, the All Progressives Congress
“Yahaya Bello is hope for Nigeria, he is young and he is youth, women and development friendly, he is a security champion, Expert and an architect in Economic development
“If you doubt me, please take a trip to Kogi State, I will direct you to Okene to see the Hospital that is being built there, I will direct you to Osara where we have the fastest growing State University – the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH)
“I will ask you to come to Lokoja, take you to Adankolo and see ‘a University–looking Secondary School’ and as well direct you to Ganaja Junction to see the first ever Flyover Bridge in Kogi State and several other infrastructural development courtesy of Yahaya Bello as Executive Governor of Kogi State
“It is not rhetoric but a reality, things that are visible and I have always say that if Yahaya Bello could do these for Kogi State, he can do same for Nigeria
“Dear Delegates of our great Party APC, I urge you all to consider development, youthfulness and gender friendliness in nominating the flag of the ruling All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming Primaries” he said.
The Presidential Primaries of the All Progressives Congress captioned APC Special Convention is slated for Monday, 6th to Wednesday, 8th June 2022 in Abuja.
