“Like Father Like Son”, “Adoja Wa”, “Megwa Adoja”, “Adoja is Back”, among others were the hailing that rented the air when Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu arrived Kogi East as part of his Foundation’s activities to commission projects across the three Senatorial Districts of the State.

The rural dwellers were sighted standing by the road side waving at the son of the soil, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu who in turn and show of love for his people, waved at them and as well, stopped to greet and commune with them in their local dialect – igala.

Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu began the Commission of Projects completed by his Shuaibu Abubakar Audu Foundation (SAAF) after his return from Lagos, and have been receiving encomium since the beginning of the movement.

As one who gives utmost regard to the traditional stool and the occupants, the experienced Banker never hesitated to call at various traditional rulers palace while on his way to his hometown, Ogbonicha, in Ofu Local Government Area.

On getting to hometown, youths, women, among other members of the Community trooped out in their numbers to welcome Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu whom they described as “Prince Abubakar Audu reincarnate”

To this end, the mammoth crowd followed him to the resident of the Former Governor of Kogi State, Late Prince Abubakar Audu, where the SAAF Grand Patron never hesitated to visit the grave of Late father whom he described as a rare hero and great source of inspiration.

Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu who is a son of the former Executive Governor of Kogi State, Late Prince Abubakar Audu is expected to Commission LGEA Primary School – Ogodo in Ankpa, LGEA Primary School at Emodi in Olamaboro, fenced and renovated Mushaidi Islamic School at Idah Local Government.

The Prince and his team is to also pay royal visit to the Paramount ruler of Kogi East – Attah of Igala Kingdom, HRM Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa (II) and also visit the Kogi State University now renamed as Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) in Ayingba.

So far, Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu has commissioned the renovated UBE Junior Secondary school Ilai in Mopamuro LGA (Kogi West) and renovated Emiworo Community Secondary School (ECSS) in Ajaokuta Local Government Area (Kogi Central).
