
The people of Kogi State who registered for the Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) between June 2021 to December 2021, have been called upon to pick their Cards at the various Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Offices across the State.
The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Yahaya Bello on Voters Education and Registration (WEST), Hon. Eunice Olukomogbon, made the call in a Chat with a Correspondent of the Intelligence News in Lokoja.
Hon. Olukomogbon said the call became necessary following an information from the INEC Office, informing her of the availability of the Cards for the said period.
Mrs. Eunice Olukomogbon who commended eligible voters that embarked on the registration process, however said it won’t be complete without they obtaining the Cards.
“Good people of our dear State, I use this medium to call on all Kogites who has found it important to be a registered voter in the state between the period of June 2021 to December 2021 to go ahead to their various INEC Offices to pick up their cards
“INEC has informed me, (Hon. Mrs Eunice Olukomogbon) to inform the people who registered during that period Via every means to go and pick up their cards
“Your Registration is not complete without you picking up your card and you will not be able to Vote if your card is not with you
“PICK UP YOUR CARD TODAY AND LET US VOTE FOR THOSE THAT WILL REPRESENT OUR INTEREST”
The importance of the Permanent Voter Cards (PVC), cannot be overemphasized as it enable holders perform their franchise during elections.
