
It is true that all mortals will one day exit the mother earth but their deeds (either good or bad) lives after them.
It was in line with the assertion above that people from both far and near gathered to celebrate the life well spent of an iconic mother figure, a succor to many and pathfinder, Late MRS. ANNE ODUFA TABAI (NEE ENARHOME).
The people who gathered in their numbers at the event hall of the Reverton Hotel, Lokoja – Kogi State extolled the good deeds of the deceased, describing her as one who lived for the service of others.
In an opening prayer and remark, a younger brother of the deceased, Sir Joseph Enarome, said whether life is lived long or short, every moment of it should be used profitably, stressing that his Late Sister was a believer that touched the lives of everyone who came her way.
“Life is too short to be spent in unforgiveness, prepare to live this life well so that when we meet in heaven, it will be a continuation of life on earth in a higher dimension”
The only son of Late Mrs. Anne Odufa Tabai, Mr. Louis Tabai, explained that he has learnt great lessons from his Late mother, noting that he will put to use the lessons learnt.
Louis said his mum has left a vacuum too difficult to fill and prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

A daughter of the deceased, Tamara Preye Tabai, described her late mother as a gracious woman who took all life situations with simplicity.
Tamara said Mama was a natural caregiver, stressing that people have been testifying of her taking such quality from her late mother following her care for people she come in contact with.
On his part, Mr. Tony Okwoju, a Son-In-Law who married Mama’s first Child, described his late Mother-In-Law as a selfless fellow who tries her best to take care of everyone while she was alive.
A Brother-In-Law of the deceased, Mr. Boniface, noted that Mama was a support system to him while he was preparing for, stressing that Late Mrs. Anne Odufa Tabai, will be greatly missed by all.
Similarly, a daughter-In-Law, Mrs. Grace Inyang Tabai – wife of Louis Tabai, pointed out that the memories of her Late Mother-In-Law remain alive in their hearts, stressing that Mama created strong relationship with everyone, adding that she was a nice and kind hearted Mother-In-Law.
Mrs. Bernadette Aleobua, popularly called “DEEBEE” who resides in South Africa, said Late Mama was her spiritual mother and described her as a model and a great source of inspiration.
Others in their remarks also eulogized the sterling qualities of Late Mrs. Anne Odufa Tabai, praying God to grant her eternal rest.
The 76 year old Late Mrs. Anne Odufa Tabai, who originally hails from the present day Edo State, was born on the 24th of June, 1946 in Lokoja, Kogi State and died on 18th April 2022 after a brief illness.
