…Prays for Continued Peace, Blessings, Others Over the Land
Though far away from home but his compound was still a beehive of activities as Islamic Clerics gathered at the Compound/Mosque of the Ohi of Okengwe-Ehi, HRH Alhaji Tijani Muhammed Anaje to observe special prayers for the land.
Led by the Chief Imam of Okengwe Central Mosque, Ustaz Salihu Aliyu, the Islamic Clerics gathered in their numbers to pray for Allah’s continued peace, blessings, progress and prosperity for the people of Okengwe in Okene Local Government Area, Kogi Central and the State at large.
In a chat with a Correspondent of the Intelligence News, the Ohi of Okengwe-Ehi, Alhaji Tijani Muhammed Anaje who is the 2022 Kogi Amir-Hajj and presently in Saudi Arabia, appreciated the Islamic Clerics for offering prayers for the land and her people.
Alhaji Tijani Anaje described prayer as a potent weapon and that can turn things around for good, calling on the people to stay committed to prayers.
While in the Holy land, he assured that pilgrims from the Confluence State will continue to pray for the State and the Country at large.
