As part of efforts at putting smiles on the faces of Muslim Faithfuls as they celebrate the 2022 Eid-El-Adha, the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Assembly Candidate for Ankpa (I) State Constituency, Hon. Aduku Emmanuel has distributed rice for members of his Constituency.

Hon. Emmanuel said the rice distributed to the people was to ease the affairs of the beneficiaries.

He congratulated the people of his Constituency, the State and Nigerians on the celebration of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, saying the Country have continued to enjoy the mercies of God despite the many challenges of insecurity, socio-economic, among others.

Hon. Aduku Emmanuel urged Muslim adherents in Ankpa to show tolerance and coexist peacefully with people of other religion.

He explained that the essence of Eid El Adha festival is sacrifice, obedience, love, and a time for reflection, calling on Muslim faithful to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice for peace, unity, and progress of Ankpa, Kogi State and Nigeria.

The Ankpa (I) State Constituency flag-bearer lauded the commitment of all Ankpa sons and daughters to peaceful co-existence, unity and progress of the Area, calling on them to sustain the fight against societal vices.

While praying for a peaceful celebration, he called on all to share with their neighbours all that makes the Sallah season a special moment.

Hon. Aduku Emmanuel said Ankpa Local Government Area and Kogi State has become a prosperous State under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello and enjoined the people to sustain their support to the Present Administration for more gains of democracy.
