The 2022 Kogi Amir Hajj, HRH Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje, has felicitated with fellow Muslims on the celebration of this year’s Eid-El-Adha Celebration.
Alhaji Ahmed, who is also the Ohi of Okengwe-Ehi, in a Felicitation message by his Media Secretary, Abu Peter, reiterates the need for the Muslims faithfuls to imbibe the spirit of godliness and peaceful coexistence for a better society.
HRH Ahmed Anaje urged them to renew their faith in Allah, embrace peace at all times to enable them contribute their quota to the development of the Nation, Nigeria.
The statement read: “This period gives us (Muslims), another opportunity to seek the face of Almighty Allah and to intercede in prayers for our Nation to overcome all the challenges confronting us
“As citizens, we should rededicate ourselves to the service of Allah, humanity and also make conscious plans that will help you contribute meaningfully to the progress of Nigeria
“On behalf of all Kogi pilgrims here in Saudi Arabia, I wish His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and his new Direction Team, a happy Eid-el-kabir celebration”
While stressing the need for Muslims to continually practice the lessons learnt from the readiness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his only son, Ismail to Allah, he appealed to them to use the season to forgive, love one another and pray for those in positions of power to enable them succeed.
The 2022 Kogi Amir Hajj offered special prayer to Allah to forgive Hajia NanaHawau Oziohu, the late Mother of Governor Yahaya Bello of all her shortcomings and continue to grant her aljana.
The Kogi Amir Hajj and OHI Of Okengwe-Ehi also congratulated his fellow Participants of this year Hajj for the opportunity to perform two different Hutubat (Simon) on Friday which also doubled as the day of Arafat and prayed Allah to grant answers to all their prayers.
