Kogi State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Salifu Isah Idachaba, has felicitated with the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello on the celebration of this year’s Eid-El-Adha, a festival of sacrifice commemorating Prophet Ibrahim’s obedient to Allah.
In a felicitation message, Hon. Idachaba described Governor Bello as a religious tolerance leader who has given various religious adherents equal opportunity in the Confluence State.
He said the building of a Chapel for Christians to Worship at the Government House by Governor Bello who is a Muslim was a testament of his commitment towards ensuring harmonious and peaceful coexistence among people of different faith and prayed Allah to continue to protect him.
The Commissioner congratulated Muslims Worldwide for witnessing this year’s Eid-El-Adha, calling on them to sustain their worship to Allah.
While charging Muslims to stay focus on contributing their quota to the development of the Society, he pointed out that the speedy growth of any society is dependent on peaceful coexistence.
