As the 2023 General Election draws nearer, the candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Kogi East, Chief Hilary Edime Amodu has promised adequate representation if elected.

Chief Hilary made the promise while addressing the press after a successful governorship election in Osun State.

He stated that the outcome of the election indicates that power has truly returned to the people and urged voters to make adequate use of such opportunity.

The Kogi East ADC Senate flag-bearer cautioned Nigerians against temptations of vote buying and selling, explaining that “gone are the bad old days when election results would be known before the commencement of the exercise”

He commended the good efforts of the Independent National Electorial Commission (INEC), the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies for the transparent and peaceful nature of the election.

The Philanthropist called on the good people of Kogi East Senatorial District to come out en mass and get registered, saying that the PVC will serve as the weapon to vote leaders of their choice in the coming elections.

As a grassroot politician who had lived with the people for over 30 years, Hon. Hilary Edime Amodu emphasized that he knows the challanges of his people and if elected, he promised to use his good will and connections to legislate laws that will bring rapid development to his Constituency.

He equally advised eligible voters not to be intimidated by any one as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is set to rescue power “from top to the bottom”

Hon. Hilary Amodu stated further that, the era of inadequate representation will be over if elected into the red chamber of the national assembly and urged the people to ensure their votes are protected and counted on the deed day.
