THE LETTER READ:

“Our attention have been drawn to the impeachment of the Ofu Local Government Chairman of PDP, that the Kogi East Zonal Chapter of the Party is not aware of the purported impeachment, that the zonal chapter was only aware of the complain against the Chairman

“While the Zonal Chairman is still going through the petition before setting up a Committee that would investigate the allegations against the Chairman, all to read on platforms that the Chairman has been impeached, the question is by who and which Committee?

“To this end the zonal office of kogi east disassociate itself from the purported impeachment and the general public is here by advised to disregard the purported impeachment of Ofu LGA Chairman of PDP as you can never be a judge in your own case

“We equally advise that we should embrace peace rather than rancho as we approach 2023 general elections, and note that the due process will be followed by the zonal chapter of the Party in Kogi East”.
