The Coalition of Former Political Office Holders in Kogi State under the Chairmanship of Hon. Abdulmumuni Sadiq, has commended the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello over various steps taken to address insecurity challenges in the State.
In a statement by the Spokesman of the Forum, Hon. David Alfred-Dogwo, the Group noted that since the Governor’s assumption of Office six (6) years ago, his government has prioritize the security of lives and property of the people of the Confluence State.
“As an actualiser, His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello have made progress in most sectors of the economy, his progressively pedigree and excellent leadership credentials is never in question
“As an Architect of peace, Governor Yahaya Bello have strengthened the foundation of peace and stability in Kogi State while expanding the scope of participatory governance
“As a Coalition, we recognize His transformational leadership qualities as an advocate of social infrastructural re-engineering, one of the biggest and loudest demonstrations of His vision is the promotion of investment to guarantee continuous growth of the State economy and huge investment in education, roads, healthcare, rural development, youth rehabilitation, empowerment, poverty alleviation and wealth creation are all geared and tailored to building a bright future for the State” – Forum Chairman, Engr. Abdulmumuni Sadiq explained.
He was of the opinion that the recent rate of killings and kidnappings in Ajaokuta Local Government Area of the State is fuelled by those who are out to discredit the good name of Alhaji Yahaya Bello that has earned numerous awards as Best Governor in Nigeria for tackling security challenges.
Hon. Sadiq pointed out that the boldness, focus, dedication and policy direction that was anchored on poverty reduction, wealth creation, youth and women empowerment are testimonies of Governor Bello’s 6 years administration.
The Coalition of Former Political Office Holders in Kogi State applauded Governor Bello for his administration’s leadership qualities which is marked with passion and charisma, and for raising the bar of performance in the State.
