A 2023 House of Assembly Flag-bearer to represent Uhunmwode State Constituency in Edo State, Justice Osazee Osasere, has promised to create job opportunities for the people if given the mandate.
Justice who is the State Assembly Flag-bearer of the Action Alliance (AA) party made the promise in a telephone interview with a Correspondent of the Intelligence News.
He said he ventured into the race to add meaning to the lives of the people of the Constituency, stressing that the people deserves more dividends of democracy.
If elected, the Former Student Union Leader explained that he will focus on ensuring the people become self reliant by creating job opportunities for them, especially the teeming youths.
Justice Osazee Osasere pointed out that the era of white collar jobs was gradually fading into the air, stressing that the need for skills development across all board rather than depending solely on government jobs cannot be overemphasized.
“Anyone vying for position of leadership must have plans for the people he’s aspiring to lead
“In view of the above, I have already mapped out plans for the good people of Uhunmwode State Constituency and I am super committed to bringing them to reality if elected for the position of the House of Assembly in the next Political dispensation
“I am already in touch with one of my Uncle who is based in the United States of America, he has a Rice Processing Plant in Enugu State
“When I emerge victorious, I will convince him to have another similar Plant in my Constituency, I am telling you that so many people will be gainfully employed through the Rice Processing Plant
“Aside from those that will be directly and indirectly employed, some persons will also go into ricing farming and the rate of unemployment will be drastically reduced in the Constituency
“Skills acquisition, such as interior decoration, tilling, tailoring, mention them, we will ensure the people acquire skills to enable them become self employed and also become employers of Labour
“I will also place the youth in my priority list when I become the House of Assembly Member representing the people come 2023 by God’s grace” he said.
Justice Osazee Osasere, who is the Founder and Coordinator of Students Intellectual Revolutionary – a Non-governmental Organization, called on the people to support his ambition, stressing that they will enjoy more dividends of democracy under his leadership.
