…Receives Award of Excellence
The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Kogi Enterprise Development agency (KEDA), Hajia Rekiya Onaivo Sanni has been appointed as the Matron of Kogi Dynamic Women Group.
A statement by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of KEDA, Yemi Balogun, explained that the Group also presented the “Elegant Woman Entrepreneur Of The Year, 2022” Award on the KEDA Boss for her relentless committment to the growth and development of Small And Medium Scale Enterprises (MSME’s) in Kogi State.
While presenting the award to Hajiya Rekiya in Lokoja, President of the Group, Hajia Amina Momohjimoh, eulogized the KEDA Boss for being a shining light and hope for women-led businesses in Kogi State.
Hajia Amina commended Hajia Onaivo for prioritizing women in her zeal to boosting the socio-economic status of the State through the Agency.
According to the President of the Group, the Award was an acknowledgement of her exemplary competence in discharging her mandate.
“In line with the policies of Kogi Dynamic Women Group, Lokoja, it is pertinent to honor, liaise and extend hands of fellowship and developmental discussion with State Government Agencies sharing similar and developmental policies with our Group
“We specifically recognized your visible contributions to Small and Medium Scale Enterprises which has been the primary focus and center topic of the average Kogite” she said.
In her reaction, the KEDA MD/CEO, Hajiya Rekiya Onaivo Sanni, appreciated the Group for finding her worthy of the position.
Hajia Rekiya said the Position and Award came earlier than expected, especially at a time that the Organization is brewing up to offset it’s activities that will impact the economy of the State positively.
She pledged her support to the Group, noting that her doors are opened to “Do More” in the achievement of the Governor Yahaya Bello-led New Direction mandate in the Confluence State.
She re-affirmed her commitment to ensuring that women and young girls are not left behind in terms of empowerment and capacity building as far as Kogi is concerned.
The KEDA Boss expressed gratitude to her Boss, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yayaya Bello for giving her the opportunity to serve under his leadership.
