Not fewer than 22,000 applicants are currently vying for only 6,000 admission spaces in Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, for the 2022/2023 academic session.

The figure is based on the results of the Post-UTME screening just released by the University.

The applicants are vying for over fifty programmes spread across the College of Health Sciences and faculties of Agriculture, Arts and Humanities, Education, Law, Management Sciences, Natural Sciences and Social Sciences of the University.

The increasing interest in PAAU admission, according to a source is owing to the current repositioning at the institution under the leadership of Professor Marietu Ohunene Tenuche.

The source also disclosed that the unhindered academic activities in the University has made her admission very attractive.
