Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr. Abubakar Muhammed Bashir (Bashir Gegu), has been praised for using his position to touch the lives of others positively.

The Senior Special Assistant on Voters Education and Registration (West) to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Hon. Eunice Olukomogbon, gave the commendation while celebrating with the Commissioner on his 43rd Birthday.

Mrs. Olukomogbon said the celebrant has been serving as a light and motivation to the younger generation, calling on him to sustain his good gesture geared towards impacting the lives of others and the society positively.

“Today, 18th September 2022 is a special day in your life and that of your family which serves as a day to celebrate the day you came into this world to make exploit

“In the years you have served as Honourable Commissioner under the leadership of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello the Executive Governor of Kogi State, you have been able to make impact and shown dedication in the assignments you have been given

“You have also been able to touch lives positively and serve as a role model to the younger generation

“I rejoice with you and your loved ones as you have been blessed by God to grow in age

“My prayer is that you will also grow in grace and progress in the name of Almighty Allah (SAW) Happy birthday to a great leader, Engr. Abubakar Muhammed Bashir AKA, Bashir Gegu”

The first Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources in Kogi State, Engr. Abubakar Muhammed Bashir (Bashir Gegu) was born on the 18th of Sept. 1979 into the family of Alhaji Abubakar Umar and Hajia Maimunat Abubakar, both of Gegu Beki in Kogi Local Government Area of Kogi State.
