NATCOMM Inaugurates Executives in Kogi, Promises Commitment to Tinubu/Shettima 2023 Presidency

Ahead of the 2023 General Elections in Nigeria, a Support Group, All Progressives Congress – APC Coalition for Mass Mobilization (NATCOMM), has inaugurated Executives of the Kogi State Chapter of the Group in Lokoja, Kogi State Capital.

The Executives are Comr. Ahmad Akeku Abubakar (CURTIS) – Kogi State NATCOMM Coordinator, Hon. Bilkisu Okuku – Women Leader, Comr. Andrew Thomas – Secretary General, among others.

Speaking at the event, NATCOMM National Coordinator, Comr. Musa Ali Otigba, described the Presidential Candidate of the Party, Sen. Bola Amed Tinubu and the Vice Presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima, as men of proven integrity with the capacity to lead the Country aright in the next political dispensation.

Comr. Otigba described the inauguration of the Executives of NATCOMM in Kogi State as historic, saying that it was the first of its kind in the operations of support Groups in the State.

He explained that it marks another milestone in the future and chances of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and her candidates for the 2023 General elections, particularly in Kogi State and Nigeria at large.

“As the name implies, APC National Coalition for Mass Mobilization is a national mobilization movement and a registered support Group to the APC at the National Secretariat Abuja

“We are currently the most outstanding support Group to the Party with verifiable structures and network of committed Members in the 36 States of the Federation and the FCT

The Executives of NATCOMM in Kogi State that we have inaugurated were selected for the various positions based on their track records of proven integrity, commitment, passion, loyalty to our great Party – APC and above all, their determination to deliver APC 5/5 in their respective Units come 2023 General Elections” he said.

He called on Candidates of the Party in the State to count on the State NATCOMM Team, describing them as a formidable team with the network to deliver good results.

The NATCOMM National Coordinator charged the State Executives to live up to expectations, stressing that the task ahead requires the commitment of all Members.

“To the newly inaugurated Kogi State NATCOMM team, I charge you all to continue to put in your best both as individual and as a Group in your respective domain to drum support for our Party

“Tell the electorate that the Tinubu/Shettima Muslim-Muslim Ticket is just a strategy to win election and not as a result of dislike or hate for the Christian fate

“Tell them also that APC is the only Party in Kogi State that has the best candidates for the National and State Houses of Assembly elections hence the need for them to vote for the Party’s candidates

“With your coming on board to join forces with the APC Team in this State, it is our hope that Kogi State will produce not less than one Million votes for the APC in the 2023 elections” he noted.

On his part, the Director General, GYB Network for Asiwaju/Shettima Campaign Group in Kogi State, Hon. Hadi Ametuo, promised that the doors of the Campaign Office is always open for NATCOMM members and expressed optimism that the Party will win overwhelmingly in the coming elections.

Hon. Ametuo said the Office is ready to work with all Support Groups in the State who is committed to the course of delivering Asiwaju/Shettima to Nigerians in the next political dispensation, calling on all support Groups in the State to register their names at the Secretariat of the Party ably led by Hon. Abdullahi Bello.

In an acceptance speech after the administration of Oath of Office, the Kogi State Coordinator of NATCOMM, Comr. Ahmad Akeku Abubakar, described their inauguration as a call to service, stressing that they will live up to expectations in the discharge of their responsibilities.

Comrade Abubakar who commended the efforts of the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello at giving youths opportunities to take leadership positions in the State, promised that together with his team, they will work to justify the confidence reposed in them by the Party.

Similarly, the State NATCOMM Women Leader, Hon. Bilkisu Okuku, appreciated the National Executives of the Party for finding them worthy to serve the interest of the Party, stressing that women play critical roles during electioneering period.

Hon. Bilkisu called on women in the State to join hands with the Group and the Party and ensure credible leaders are elected into various positions of authorities in the State, pointing out that the APC has all the candidates needed to change the current narratives of the Country for good.

National Executives of the Group, stalwarts and other supporters of the APC in Kogi State attended the inauguration which was held at the GYB Network for Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Office along Kpata Road, Lokoja, Kogi State.

Highlights of the event include administration of Oath of Office by the NATCOMM Excos, Presentation of a Letter to the Former State APC Chairman, Hon. Hadi Ametuo as the NATCOMM Patron – Kogi State Chapter and gyrations/chants of Tinubu/Shettima’s names by the highly elated APC supporters who are sure of victory ahead of the 2023 General Elections.
