The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) House of Representatives Candidate for Idah Federal Constituency, Hon. Egbunu Amanabo Yusuf, has empathized with the victims of the ongoing flood that has ravaged the state, particularly the people of IBAJI and other areas within the Constituency.

The NNPP House of Reps Flag-bearer in a chat with Newsmen, described the havoc as most unfortunate, saying he feels their pains and sufferings.

He noted that the situation was a setback to those affected and appealed to relevant Government Agencies to step up speed aimed at remedying the ugly and regrettable situation.

He admonished those that reside by river banks to relocate to higher grounds as an antidote to stemming the tides, thereby reducing casualties.

The Idah Federal Constituency Flag-bearer of the NNPP promised to sustain his support that is on and also assured of his avowed commitment to continue to stand up for them at such a trying period and lamented the loss of property and hardship the people are forced to pass through.

“This is very unfortunate, I sympathize with all those who have lost property to this natural disaster, it’s my prayers that no life will be missing in all the experience

“I pledge that by the grace of God and the will of the people of Idah Federal Constituency, under the NNPP, if given the opportunity, I will sponsor relevant Bills that will activate permanent solutions to all flood related issues because every situation has solution and we need leaders with the will to bring that lasting solution

“Help has finally come to the Idah Federal Constituency if am given a chance to represent you at the Green Chambers of the National Assembly” he assured.
