In her usual gesture of touching the lives of the less privileged, orphans and physically challenged persons in the society, a Non-Governmental Organization in Kogi State known as Maya Care Foundation, has again paid the school fees, provided notebooks, school bags, sandals and awarded scholarships to Secondary School Student across Kogi Central.
Founder of the Foundation, Hajia Sefiya Abdulmumin Danga, said the gesture was aimed at alleviating the sufferings of parents and make schooling more attractive to the young ones in the Area.
Hajia Sefiya explained that the NGO have been spreading message of hope and have also been contributing towards ending poverty in Communities, stressing that more will be done in the days ahead.
She encouraged the students to be focused and show commitment to their academic pursuits, while assuring them of her support at all times to ensure they have access to basic education.
Hajia Sefiya hailed the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for committing resources to the education sector in the State and thanked all the sponsors of the program for their interest in the growth of Education in Kogi central.
“Whatever anyone commits to the growth of education in the State, they’re only complimenting the efforts of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello because he is a man that has made giant strides in the education sector in the Confluence State”
She appealed to well-to-do individuals in the society to associate and partner with the organization to enable the Foundation reach more people beyond Kogi central.
The beneficiaries and School Principals were full of praises and prayed for God’s continuous provision and protection over the founder of Maya Care Foundation.
In company of Hajia Sefiya Abdulmumin Danga to the distribution of the Items to improve the quality of Education in Kogi Central were the volunteers who ensured all the i’s are dotted and the T’s crossed.
Recall that last year, the NGO also offered such aide to students and schools across Kogi Central as such gesture is gradually becoming an annual event observed by Maya Care Foundation.
