Despite the current challenges bedeviling Nigeria, the President/ Founder of Sister to Sister Empowerment Worldwide, Dr. Mary Arile, has expressed optimism that the Giant in Nigeria, will rise again.
Dr. Mary in a felicitation message to Muslim Ummah, noted that the virtues of love, peace, kindness and compassion preached by the Prophet should continuously be exhibited by all adherents of Islam and none Muslims.
The Philanthropist cum Politician, pointed out that Nigeria will become a better place for all when Nigerians love one another beyond religious, regional and ethnic differences.
“I congratulate our Muslim brothers and sisters all over the world on the celebration of the 2022 Maulud to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him)
“I encourage us all to continue to pray for Allah’s peace to reign over our Country, put an end to all issues causing setback to our Country and also pray for the progress of Nigeria
“Let’s also reflect on the lessons of the celebration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) and always seek for ways to impact the society positively
“We may not be getting things right yet but let’s keep our hopes alive, the Giant in Nigeria that made the Country to be referred to as the GIANT OF AFRICA will rise again” she noted.
Dr. Mrs. Mary Arile, promised that the NGO will continue to impact the lives of others positively in the days ahead.
Mawlid, Mawlid an-Nabi ash-Sharif or Eid Milad un Nabi is the observance of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad which is commemorated in Rabi’ al-awwal, the third month in the Islamic calendar.
The history of the celebration goes back to the early days of Islam when some of the Tabi‘un began to hold sessions in which Poetry and Songs composed to honour Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) were recited and sung to the crowds.
