The President/Founder of an International Non-Governmental Organisation, Sister-to-Sister Empowerment Worldwide, Dr. Mrs. Mary Alile, hit major Schools in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State for the BACK TO SCHOOL PROJECT to distribute books and other materials to the beneficiaries.
Among the schools visited for the Free distribution of exercise books include, Evodobian Primary School – Eweiyioba Village, Akugbe Primary School – Owe, Eware Primary School – Ogan, amongst others.
Dr. Mary Alile, said the show of love for the pupils and students was to alleviate the high costs of purchasing learning materials especially at the present dire-hard economic situation of the Country.
She explained that Education is important for all, saying that it goes a long way at ensuring a sane and progressive society.
Dr. Mrs. Mary Alile also stressed that the Organisation will continue to do her best at ensuring quality education for the younger generation within her limited resources.
The management of the schools visited so far all thanked their illustrious daughter, Dr. Mrs. Mary Alile, for her magnanimity and for identifying with the downtrodden.
The elated pupils and students of the schools visited rented the air with chants of “Capacity Here! Capacity Everywhere!”, to appreciate Mrs. Alile, popularly called CAPACITY, for her gesture towards them.
The programme began with the National Coordinator, Pst. Mrs. Mabel Obetoh, some State and Local Government Coordinators of the NGO accompany Dr. Mrs. Mary Alile as they played host to some schools in Orhionmwon L.G.A of Edo State.
Meanwhile, the Back to School Project Tour of the Sister to Sister Empowerment Worldwide continues as other schools are expected to benefit from the gesture of the NGO.
