The Aare Jagunmolu of Budo-egba land, Alhaji AbdulRaheem Yusuf Akorede, has congratulated notable Kwarans who received different National Awards from President Muhammadu Buhari.
In a Congratulatory message, the Kwara Central Senatorial Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) who is also the Diamond of Asa Local Government, described the Awardees as people of great might whose contributions to societal growth have been overwhelming.
“Especially, I congratulate our Senatorial Candidate – Kwara South, Professor Wale Sulaiman and Minister of Information & Culture, Alh. Lai Muhammed on their National Awards (CON)
“The honorees are all true patriots who have paid their dues in their various professions, and the decision to honour them captures their services to the fatherland
“I felicitate with these outstanding personalities who in their respective fields, have etched their names in gold
“We similarly commend Mr. President for finding these Kwarans worthy of the prestigious national honour. Congratulations to u all!” He said.
