The new Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Kogi State Governor on Climate Change, Hon. Sunday Oguche, has appreciated Alhaji Yahaya Bello for giving him an opportunity to serve in his New Direction Administration.

Hon. Oguche gave the appreciation after receiving his Appointment Letter from the Office of the Secretary to the State Government at the State Capital, Lokoja.

He said the appointment has further proven that the Governor remain a Youth friendly fellow who is committed to changing the “Youths are the Leaders of Tomorrow” to “Youths are the Leaders of Today”.

Hon. Sunday Oguche who hails from Idah Local Government Area of the State, thanked the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pharm. Abdulkareem Muhammed Jamiu Asuku, Technical Assistant to the Governor, Anthony Edogbo and other stakeholders for their contributions at making his appointment possible, noting that the new position was a call to service.

“I want to express my sincere gratitude to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of our dear State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for finding me worthy for this position

“I lack words to appreciate the people’s Governor over this appointment, it is my prayers that God Almighty will continue to enlarge your coast and grant you success in all you do

“This is simply a call to service, I will live up to expectations in the discharge of my duties by the grace of God” he promised.

Hon. Sunday Oguche expressed optimism that candidates of the All Progressives Congress APC will emerge victorious in the coming elections and urged youths to demonstrate their strength in the 2023 elections through their massive votes.

He also called on the people of Kogi State to support the present administration for all round development.
