Labour Party was the center of attraction in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State, on 22nd of October, 2022, when the LGA Chairman, Hon. Obinna Lordis Mbamara played host to a multitude of crowd led by resourceful personalities, viz; Rev. Everestus Onyenejide, Mr. Theophilus Amaechi and Mr. Chibuzo Amaechi.

Their sole intent and purpose propelling the visit was to join the winning team party, Labour Party in redefining and resetting the current dysfunctional system of the Country, Nigeria.

In their remarks, Mr. Theophilus Amaechi and Mr. Chibuzo Amaechi who are the leaders of Unity Fan Club of Nigeria and Imo Grassroot for Good Governance respectively asserted that they were lured to Labour Party based on the wonderful works of the presidential candidate of the party, Mr. Peter Obi, exercising firm believe that Labour Party is the only true party that will change the Country’s current narratives for good and give every Nigerian the true sense of belonging in the political landscape of Nigeria.

The LGA Legal Adviser of the party and Okigwe Zone Coordinator of G-27 Organization, Rev. Everestus Onyenejide who was also instrumental to the successful defection of the groups vowed to continue to mobilize more people for Labour Party to ensure that Mr. Peter Obi, Barr. Ifeanyi Ararume, Hon. Chikwem Onuoha and Hon. Charles Ogu emerged victorious in the forthcoming general elections.

Hon. Lordis Mbamara who is the LGA Chairman, advised the new comers to close ranks with the old members and work as a team towards the campaign and election proper.

He further assured both groups that Labour Party as a party with the ideology of a new Nigeria, always rewards hard work.

The LGA Chairman stated that since they have agreed to collapse into the party because of Mr. Peter Obi, they should also join hands in working with the Senatorial, House of Rep and House of Assembly Candidates of the party, Barr. Ifeanyi Ararume, Hon. Chikwem Onuoha and Hon. Charles Ogu respectively.

Responding, the duo of Mr. Theophilus Amaechi and Mr. Chibuzo Amaechi thanked the Executives of Isiala Mbano Labour Party for admitting them and their followers into their fold with open arms and promised that they will do everything possible to ensure that the party cruised to victory.
